The Woodbury Bridge Club Spring / Summer Party will be held Monday, June 2nd, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 3:30 p.m. at the Shawnee Park Warming House (Map). Note that there will be no other Social Bridge or Duplicate Bridge that Monday.
- Food Shelf Fundraiser: During registration for the party (9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.), participants are encouraged to provide a check or cash donation to local food shelves.
- Catered Lunch: A catered box lunch will be provided. Cost of the catered lunch and prizes will be $15.00. You must sign up for lunch choice in advance. If you choose not to order lunch, you will be asked to pay $3.00 toward prizes.
- Social Bridge Tournament: The social bridge tournament will include cash prizes for the top three individual scorers. The tournament will consist of at least six rounds in which participants play four hands of bridge using Chicago-style scoring. Tournament participants may choose a partner and a numbered table for the first round. Thereafter, at the end of each round, the pair with the higher score moves to the next higher-numbered table. However, each member of the “moving” pair is “re-partnered” with a person from the next table, based on a high-low card draw. Each player accumulates his/her score from each of the tournament rounds.
